THE STORY
Our Tianello TENCEL™ "Shiane" Blouse features a point collar with wide revers (showing as duo fold-back lapels) thus creating a stylish V-neckline. The button down front has twin stitched reinforcement for added durability. Rich draping flows downward from the shoulders to a squared bottom hem that falls to the upper thighs. Generous side slits provide subtle flare to the hips and appreciable comfort. The backside sports an enlarged yoke. The Full Length length sleeves are finished with folding French square cuffs. A generous full bodied fit flatters the torso, giving this top a classic, almost seasonless look. For the environmentally-conscious, Tencel comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber.
Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable.
