Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. THE STORY

Our charming    Sochie Tunic was designed using a Rayon Knit Jersey  fabric chosen for long wearing comfort and minimal care. 

Our pullover Knit  Sochie Tunic Top features a round band neckline, ¾ length lace sleeves, a pieced empire waistline, and subtle stitching throughout the garment. The round bottom hem falls to the hips and it is cut to arch upwards on the hips to flatter the torso. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this fitted silhouette, which pairs easily with pants, leggings and designer jeans. This signature blend of Tencel and Rayon is a wonderful combination of refinement and practicality. Tencel lends weight to create long lines and an elegant drape, along with a soft feel and suede-like finish. For the environmentally-conscious, Tencel comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber.

Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. THE STORY


Our hip length Suzy Blouse features a twin-stitched lapel collar that sweeps into a V-neck. The button down front sports reinforced seams. Long waistline darts flowing to the slightly rounded bottom hem flatters the torso, giving this fitted body style a classic, almost timeless look. Our stunning ethnic Mud Print fabric pattern draws inspiration from West African mud cloth textiles, called "Bogolanfini", a language composite of bogo (meaning "earth"), lan (meaning "with"), and fini (meaning "cloth"). Production of this cotton fabric is an ancient home-craft, and finished Bogolanfini are an authentic traditional art form. Our distinctive Mud Print here includes elements and patterns that have no particular symbolic meaning other than to simply look beautiful.

Our stunning ethnic Mud Print fabric pattern draws inspiration from West African mud cloth textiles, called "Bogolanfini", a language composite of bogo (meaning "earth"), lan (meaning "with"), and fini (meaning "cloth"). Production of this cotton fabric is an ancient home-craft, and finished Bogolanfini are an authentic traditional art form. Our distinctive Mud Print here includes elements and patterns that have no particular symbolic meaning other than to simply look beautiful.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk". Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

This  TENCEL™ Knit Jersey fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and soft-textured aesthetic. Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. TENCEL™ properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. TENCEL™ is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our TENCEL™ blend also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles. Our knitted jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.
