This ingenious Tencel blend is a wonderful combination of fibers that provide much appreciated comfort and “easy care” practicality. Tencel lends weight to create long lines and an elegant drape. For the environmentally conscious, Tencel comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber. Silk fiber is actually very stronger than Cotton fiber. What makes silk delicate is if it is very shear. Shear silk can snag easily! The main reason people dry clean silk is so the garment does not shrink because most silk garment makers do not build in the shrinkage by pre washing to pre shrink…..
