The main reason people dry clean silk is so the garment does not shrink because most silk garment makers do not build in the shrinkage by pre washing to pre shrink…..

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk" NO Dry Cleaning necessary. Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). THE STORY

Our Java "SIRI" Tunic was designed using a premium Rayon Knit Jersey fabric chosen for softness, long wearing comfort and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn to the basket weave motif print (which we call “Java”) that serves as a style element as well as a visual statement. This delightful marriage of style and function provides a fashion sensibility that well dressed women welcome.

Our pullover Siri tunic top features a Cowl-Neck. Our pullover SIRI Tunic Top features a traditional round COWL neckline finished with a simple fold-over trim. Elegant draping flows downward from the shoulders into an arched bottom hem that falls to the upper thighs. That bottom hemline also has handkerchief points to the sides of the hips, adding a feminine touch to the look of the silhouette. Additional design elements include ¾ length sleeves, a comfortable fitted frame, and subtle stitching throughout the tunic. Our Java fabric print draws inspiration from the weaving patterns of the staple “collecting” baskets used in coffee regions throughout the world. Three distinct basket weaving patterns are showcased here which are commonly used in Central America, South America, the Pacific Islands, and Africa. These patterns are often achieved by using choice natural materials such as reed, tree bark splints, cane, flax, jute, palm fronds, and straw. Our stylized renditions of these weaving patterns serve as design elements as well as providing captivating visual appeal.

THE STORY

Our Java "SIRI" Tunic was designed using a premium Rayon Knit Jersey fabric chosen for softness, long wearing comfort and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn to the basket weave motif print (which we call “Java”) that serves as a style element as well as a visual statement. This delightful marriage of style and function provides a fashion sensibility that well dressed women welcome.

Our pullover Siri tunic top features a Cowl-Neck. Our pullover SIRI Tunic Top features a traditional round COWL neckline finished with a simple fold-over trim. Elegant draping flows downward from the shoulders into an arched bottom hem that falls to the upper thighs. That bottom hemline also has handkerchief points to the sides of the hips, adding a feminine touch to the look of the silhouette. Our Java fabric print draws inspiration from the weaving patterns of the staple “collecting” baskets used in coffee regions throughout the world. Three distinct basket weaving patterns are showcased here which are commonly used in Central America, South America, the Pacific Islands, and Africa. These patterns are often achieved by using choice natural materials such as reed, tree bark splints, cane, flax, jute, palm fronds, and straw. Our stylized renditions of these weaving patterns serve as design elements as well as providing captivating visual appeal.
