FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 46% Cotton / 46% Rayon/8% Spandex

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wear ability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

The most common fibers used for industrial knitted fabrics are cotton. These knit fabrics provide form-fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. Our Cotton Blend Knit Jersey here has a soft-textured hand, it drapes beautifully on the body (affording long wearing comfort), is easy to care for, and it is also wonderfully wrinkle resistant. This fabric is also suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles designed for women's knit apparel.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed). Dry Clean OK.

This Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and soft-textured aesthetic. Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles. Our knitted jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

Soft to the touch, coupled with a flattering fit, we have crafted our popular Stripe Asbury Tunic Top using a premium Rayon Blend Knit Jersey Jacquard fabric chosen for rich draping, durability and long wearing comfort. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the classic tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn to an expressive stripe jacquard pattern that serves as a fashion element as well as a visual statement.

Our pullover Asbury Tunic Top features a traditional round neckline finished with a simple fold-over trim. Elegant draping flows downward from the shoulders into an arched bottom hem that falls to the upper thighs. That bottom hemline also has handkerchief points to the sides of the hips, adding a feminine touch to the look of the silhouette. Additional design elements include ¾ length sleeves, a comfortable fitted frame, and subtle stitching throughout the tunic. Our pullover Devon tunic top features a band V-neck that is reinforced with backside facing for extra durability. The ¾ length sleeves are finished with simple fold-over hems. A form fitting drape sweeps downward from the shoulders to a bottom hemline that falls to the upper thighs. This is a dual frame silhouette in that there are two tunic frames sewn together to create one top. The major difference between the two is that the inside tunic has a squared bottom hem, whereas the outside tunic hemline has an enlarged handkerchief point to the front left leg and another to the hind right leg. This asymmetrical styling offers subtle, but chic fashion appeal.
