Viscose, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. This Rayon fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and silk-like aesthetic. The absorbency character of our Rayon also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. Our knit jersey's have a soft-textured hand (providing long wearing comfort), are easy to care for, and are wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

Our pullover Briata ¾ Sleeved Cowl Tunic features a slim cowl neck with a soft fold. The hip length bottom hem is arched in the front, and the back side is slightly rounded but fashionably longer. Our smart looking “Virona” jacquard draws reference to the well known “Houndstooth check” fabric weave, which originated in Scotland during the early 1800’s. This duotone pattern is characterized by its abstract four-pointed shapes, or broken checks, most often crafted in black and white. This unique design, also known as “pied-de-poule”, was adopted by the European upper class as a symbol of wealth during the 1930’s. This canine-sounding name was inspired by the uneven shapes of a Hound Dog’s teeth, and the smaller houndstooth check is also known as “Puppy’s tooth”. Our version here showcases similar houndstooth checks, in a series of different width bands, and in pattern repeat. Such creative weaving artistry beautifully complements the soft textured feel of our premium French Knit Jersey fabric.

Our smart looking “Virona” jacquard draws reference to the well known “Houndstooth check” fabric weave, which originated in Scotland during the early 1800’s. This duotone pattern is characterized by its abstract four-pointed shapes, or broken checks, most often crafted in black and white. This unique design, also known as “pied-de-poule”, was adopted by the European upper class as a symbol of wealth during the 1930’s. This canine-sounding name was inspired by the uneven shapes of a Hound Dog’s teeth, and the smaller houndstooth check is also known as “Puppy’s tooth”. Our version here showcases similar houndstooth checks, in a series of different width bands, and in pattern repeat. Silk fiber is actually very stronger than Cotton fiber. What makes silk delicate is if it is very shear. Shear silk can snag easily! The main reason people dry clean silk is so the garment does not shrink because most silk garment makers do not build in the shrinkage by pre washing to pre shrink…..

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk" NO Dry Cleaning necessary. Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

THE STORY
