Consider then, our woven Jaipur Kai Kimono, which was crafted using natural fibered, eco-friendly, 100% Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine chosen for its lightweight elegance, long wearing comfort, and minimal care This vogue silhouette draws inspiration from chic iconic capes and robes of yesteryear known for their fashion flair. Attention is drawn to a richly hued “floral motif” print (called “Jaipur”) which offers a casual, but refined look to help express your own personal sense of style. With easy care in mind, the "washable silk” fabric selected for this garment makes it a sensible fashion investment.

Our pieced Kai Kimono is inspired by the loose fitting, buttonless “haori kimono” silhouette where the length to the bottom hem is shortened to the upper thighs (versus a full length traditional kimono robe where the bottom hem extends to the floor and beyond the feet). Our rendition here features an unstructured front opening that sweeps downward into long points, thus creating a stylish "cascading" drape effect. The peplum piecing is rounded on the backside and there are subtle long darts to the torso toward the lower back. The ¾ length set-in sleeves have trumpet styled arm openings which are cut to provide a fluttering effect. Subtle, single needle stitching throughout captures an elegance that well dressed women desire. This versatile, garment-dyed top is perfect for layering over a coordinating tank dress or sleeveless blouse, making it a smart addition to any thoughtfully planned wardrobe.

Our gorgeous “Jaipur” fabric print draws inspiration from the vast array of exotic flowers found in the tropical rain forests of the sub-continent of India. Showcased here is a mélange of stylized Wood Roses, Poppy bulb florettes, Passion Fruit blossoms, Sumbac Jasmines and Stargazer Lilies, in pattern repeat. Random groupings of polka dots and cane stripes add a vintage personality to the overall complexion of the fabric. Our sublime “Ezee” fabric print draws inspiration from the earlier paintings of renowned French Impressionist, Claude Monet, which captured the sheer beauty and alluring colorations of his personal gardens at his estate in Giverny, France during the early 1900’s. Embodied in our print here are dreamlike sprays of stylized wild flowers rendered into an impressionistic floral motif, paying homage to the famous “plein-air landscape” style of Monet.
