With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn here to the marvelously soft textured “puffed stripe” jacquard pattern (which we call “Fontaine”) that serves as a style element as well as a visual statement.

Our pullover Mara Tunic Top features a round neckline, ¾ length sleeves, and a squared bottom hemline that falls to the upper thighs, all classic elements of this ballet inspired body style. Subtle stitching throughout enhances the fashion simplicity of this form fitting silhouette. FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 67% Rayon / 29% Polyester / 4% Spandex

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk". Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

This Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality. Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for superb garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles designed for women's clothing. Our jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

Our unique “Crawford” knit jacquard here doubles as a design element and provides added visual interest. This jacquard weave features an intriguing design that resembles puffed chain links forming a vertical “bean pod” shape, in pattern repeat. Although this is not a reversible top, the reverse side of the fabric features the negative effect of this pattern in color contrast. This superb dual-weaving artistry beautifully complements the soft-textured feel of our luxe Knit Jersey fabric.
