Silk fiber is actually very stronger than Cotton fiber. What makes silk delicate is if it is very shear. Shear silk can snag easily! The main reason people dry clean silk is so the garment does not shrink because most silk garment makers do not build in the shrinkage by pre washing to pre shrink…..

The strongest of natural fibers, silk retains its shape, drapes well, caresses the figure, and because of its high absorbency, it is easily garment dyed in a variety of deep colors. “Chiffon” is the name of the fabric type, which is made into crêpe-like material from highly twisted filament yarns during manufacturing, achieving a gauze-like character in structure. Under a magnifying glass woven chiffon resembles a fine net, or mesh, which allows it to have see-through properties. Our Eco-friendly 100% Washable “Silk Chiffon” is a plain weave, extremely sheer, airy, transparent fabric with a still, or “matte” finish. Designed for soft texture, it’s comfortably lightweight and suitable for sewing into a variety of apparel body styles.

This Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and soft-textured aesthetic. Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles. Our knitted jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.
