FABRIC & CARE
FABRIC CONTENTS: 100% Silk 12MM Crepe de Chine
Silk has been renowned for centuries as a valuable and luxurious commodity, often associated with wealth and status. The strongest of natural fibers, silk retains its shape, drapes well, caresses the figure, and because of its high absorbency, it is easily garment dyed in a variety of deep colors. This 100% Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine is woven to have a supple, organic feel, unlike many fabrics woven with synthetic fibers. With a 12 mommes weight factor, our Eco-friendly silk of choice is lightweight but is suitable for sewing into many body styles designed for women's silk clothing.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low, or line dry. Warm, steam iron (silk setting). Dry Clean OK.

THE STORY
One of our best selling garments is our woven Erika Bias Tank Top, which we have crafted here using natural fibered, eco-friendly 100% Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine chosen for softness, durability and long wearing comfort. Attention is drawn to a captivating “floral trim motif” print (which we call "Aberdeen") which provides this luxe top a casual, yet refined look. With easy care in mind, the "washable" silk fabric chosen for this garment makes it a sensible fashion investment.
Our pullover Erika Bias Tank Top is cut on the bias, which allows the fabric to mold to the figure and the body's natural curves. Also featured is a V-neck that is very flattering to the décolletage without over-exposure. The square bottom hem sits well below the waist and has 3" side slits that afford a slight, stylish flare to the hips. There is subtle stitching throughout which supports the elegant styling of this loose fitting silhouette. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this print Tank Top, making it a smart addition to any well planned wardrobe.
Our intriguing Aberdeen fabric print features an assortment of floral designs in dual print artistry. The primary element is a background collage consisting of Violet bouquets, vintage floral chinaware trims, and classic floral delftware designs, all in pattern repeat. The second image element is an overprint showing an array of watercolor-like swathes in random placement. The color diffusion throughout the print renders a dreamlike quality to the overall complexion of the fabric. This synergy of colors and sublime imagery wonderfully enhances the opulent draping of our Silk Crêpe de Chine.
