Beautiful Georgette print tops add a veil of sophistication to any well appointed wardrobe. Consider then, our woven Kazuko Parasol Summer Blouse, which showcases feminine styling balanced with vintage fabric print artistry. We have designed this silhouette using natural fibered, eco-friendly Rayon CrÍpe Georgette, which is renowned for its luxurious drape, soft crinkled texture, and minimal care. A stylized Japanesque motif print adds expressive charm to this piece, offering sublime visual appeal beyond function.

Our pullover Summer Blouse features a generous round neckline that is finished with simple turned-over trim. The fitted Empire bustline has shirred detailing and the bodice bib has double fabric to decrease transparency to the bosom. Puff short sleeves have pinch pleats at the shoulders and the arm openings have gathered bands. A loose fitting drape flows downward from the shoulders to a hip-length bottom hem. Sewn in just a couple of inches above that bottom hem edge is a thin Whitework honeycomb band of “drawn thread needlework” which gives the blouse a lacy feminine quality. There is single-needle stitching throughout the top. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile piece that pairs easily with pants, leggings and designer jeans.

This Tianello printed Georgette blouse was designed, developed and proudly Made In The USA using premium imported fabric.

Our captivating “Kazuko Parasol” fabric print emphasizes the timeless beauty of iconic Japanesque motif artistry. Our rendition here draws inspiration from classic silk masterpieces that hung in the castles of Japanese emperors for centuries. "Kazuko" means "harmonious child" in Japanese, and the serene images of kimono clad women in repose with their umbrellas suggest inference to our "Kazuko Parasol" name. Design elements include stylized Sakura blossoms and buds, nebulous cloud formations, ancient Oriental mandalas, and traditional Sakura block prints. This opulent print artistry wonderfully enhances the luxurious drape of our premium CrÍpe Georgette fabric.

FABRIC CONTENTS: 100% Cupro Rayon CrÍpe Georgette

Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable.

Named after the early 20th century French “modiste”, Georgette de la Plante, crÍpe “Georgette” is tabby woven and is renowned for its’ distinctive crinkly, light texture because the yarns used in this fabric are hard-twisted, which causes them to crinkle as they relax, giving the fabric a springy quality that makes it seem to move on its’ own. Because of its’ high absorbency Georgette crÍpe can be easily garment dyed in a myriad of rich colors, or printed with a multi-hued pattern. Lightweight and supple in character, this 100% Cupro Rayon Georgette is soft but very durable, wears very well, provides an elegant flowing drape, and requires minimal care.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash cold with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on fabric). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron. Dry Clean OK.
