Our woven Coventry Porcelain Chemilee Blouse offers a sumptuous look that combines comfort styling with elegant appeal. With feminine rich design elements, this top was crafted using natural fibered, minimal care, Rayon Crêpe Georgette, which is famous for its’ soft crinkled texture and opulent draping. Attention is drawn to a beautiful “floral delftware motif” fabric print, providing a visual treat to both the wearer and admirer alike.

Our pullover Chemilee blouse features a drawstring neckline that is softened by a thin band of gathered fabric which prevents hard lines around the collar. That neckline flows into a band v-neck which is reinforced with backside facing. Juliet cuffs adorn the ends of the ¾ length sleeves, which puff at the elbow, providing a feminine touch to this loose body silhouette. Gathered empire styling creates a tiered look that flares slightly to the hips, offering appreciable comfort and wearability. Subtle stitching throughout, hidden “finger” side pockets at the bottom hemline, and garment dyed richness add value to this stylish investment. This top is perfect for traveling, smart looking for the office, and would make a lovely addition to your weekend wardrobe.

This Tianello natural fibered Rayon Georgette garment was designed, developed and proudly Made In The USA with premium imported fabric.

Our gorgeous Coventry Porcelain graphic print draws inspiration from the skilled art of blending porcelain with cobalt to create kiln fired ceramics that varied in shades of white and blue. With a technique that has been practiced for over a thousand years, we feel that this combination yields the very definition of “classic”. This particular print displays a delphinium floral motif with stylized curled leaves, with hints of acanthus foliage, mimicking Dutch delftware that was so popular across Europe for decades, and is sought after by serious collectors to this day. Here, intricate design work coupled with polychromatic decorative colors pays homage to the ceramic artistry that is synonymous to delft craftsmanship originating from environs within and surrounding Coventry, England.

FABRIC CONTENTS: 100% Rayon Crêpe Georgette

Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable.

Named after the early 20th century French “modiste”, Georgette de la Plante, crêpe “Georgette” is tabby woven and is renowned for its’ distinctive crinkly, light texture because the yarns used in this fabric are hard-twisted, which causes them to crinkle as they relax, giving the fabric a springy quality that makes it seem to move on its’ own. Because of its’ high absorbency Georgette crêpe can be easily garment dyed in a myriad of rich colors, or printed with a multi-hued pattern. Lightweight and supple in character, this 100% Rayon Georgette is soft but very durable, wears very well, provides an elegant flowing drape, and requires minimal care.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash cold with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron. Dry Clean OK.
