"Enchanting fabric print artistry" helps define our Quito Lisa Blouse, which was fashioned using natural fibered, eco-friendly Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine chosen for softness, durability and minimal care. Classic design elements embodied in this top render a womanly flair that is very flattering, and the cut provides long wearing comfort. Attention is drawn to a mesmerizing, richly hued “Inca motif” print to help express your own personal sense of style.

Our pullover, button down front Lisa Blouse displays a refined quality that is afforded by a soft and generous drape which is flattering to the body and transitions with body movement. The band scoopneck has underside facing for added reinforcement. The straight-line bottom hem falls to the hips. There are very subtle darts to the torso on the front and back sides, which renders a slight tailored look to the silhouette. The "Juliet sleeves" are ¾ length and they have stylish, flared "bell shaped” arm openings. Subtle single needle stitching throughout the blouse captures an elegance that well dressed women truly appreciate. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile piece, which is very comfortable for traveling, very smart looking for business wear, and would make a worthy addition to your weekend attire.

This Tianello garment was designed, developed and proudly Made In The USA.

Our sublime Quito fabric print draws inspiration from Inca stone architecture found at the World Cultural Heritage Site, which is also the highest capital city in the world, flanked by several Andes volcanoes that are part of the Pacific "Ring of Fire". Named after the pre-Columbian "Quitu" tribe, Quito is also the closest capital city to the equator, about a half mile from zero latitude. Quito is within an historic region that is home of the architectural aesthetic known as the "wayrona style", and "ashlar" which is the use of polished, precise cut dry-stones for walls and monuments.

Design elements of our print here include linear strokes reminiscent of the steep slopes of the Andes Mountains, triangular shapes drawn in the "wayrona style", stylized Inca symbols, and a mélange of oblong blocks that were typical in Inca artistry. This synergy of colors and heritage designs beautifully complements the sumptuous drape of our luxe Silk Crêpe de Chine.
FABRIC CONTENTS: 100% Silk 12MM Crêpe de Chine

Silk has been renowned for centuries as a valuable and luxurious commodity, often associated with wealth and status. The strongest of natural fibers, silk retains its shape, drapes well, caresses the figure, and because of its high absorbency, it is easily garment dyed in a variety of deep colors. This 100% Washable Silk Crêpe de Chine is woven to have a supple, organic feel, unlike many fabrics woven with synthetic fibers. With a 12 mommes weight factor, our Eco-friendly silk of choice is lightweight but is suitable for sewing into many body styles designed for women's silk clothing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach). Tumble dry low, or line dry. Warm iron (silk setting). Dry Clean OK.
