Combining comfort styling with colorful print artistry, we have also crafted our woven Alani Flood Pant using a natural fibered, eco-friendly Tencel & Rayon blend fabric chosen for rich draping, durability and minimal care. Attention is drawn to a “Hibiscus motif” print to help express your personal sense of style.

Our classic pull-up Flood Pant has an elastic gathered waistband that features triple stitched reinforcement for extra durability. Wide leg styling provides a comfortable fit and appreciable room for movement. Soft draping gracefully flows downward to a hem that sits above the ankle (flood pant styling). Functional side pockets sewn along the outside seam on the hips are almost invisible to the eye. Subtle stitching throughout complements the elegant design of this popular silhouette. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile pant, which is very comfortable for traveling, very smart looking for business wear, and would make a wonderful addition to your weekend wardrobe.

This Tianello natural fibered Tencel garment was designed, developed and proudly Made In The USA using premium imported fabric.

Our lovely “Alani” fabric print draws inspiration from the large family of Hibiscus flowers thriving in the Hawaiian Islands. In fact, the official state flower of Hawai’i is the native Yellow Hibiscus, an endangered species known to the Hawaiians as the revered “Pua Ma’o Hau Hele” (Yellow Hibiscus is found only in Hawai’i and so few remain in the wild). The common Hawaiian name for Hibiscus is “Aloalo” (meaning “loved by many”, or “beloved”), and specific names are given to aloalo for their color. Shown in our print here is the “Koki’o Alani” (Red Orange aloalo), which can be found on all the major Hawaiian islands. To the Hawaiians flowers are symbols of refinement and beauty, and when given as “lei” necklaces it is conveyed as a gesture of respect and kindness. And a single flower worn on the left ear means “married”, and “available” if worn on the right ear.
FABRIC CONTENTS: 65% tencel / 35% Rayon

This signature blend of Tencel and Rayon is a wonderful combination of refinement and practicality. Tencel lends weight to create long lines and an elegant drape, along with a soft feel and suede-like finish. For the environmentally-conscious, Tencel comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber.

Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. We also love how vibrantly the colors appear on this fabric, enriching our garments with vivid hues.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash cold with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, do not use Woolite, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low (do not use dryer sheets). Warm iron. Dry Clean OK.
